Introduction
What selltraces does, what it does not do, and where to start.
selltraces is a command line tool and a marketplace. The CLI reads the session logs your coding agents already keep, redacts them on your machine, and uploads only the traces you approve. We scrub them again, package them into datasets, and license those datasets to AI labs. When a dataset that includes your traces sells, you receive 70% of the net revenue attributed to them.
What it does not do
- It does not run in the background, watch files, or change your agent setup.
- It does not upload anything during a dry run.
- It does not read projects you mark private.
- It does not guarantee income. Estimates are not payouts.
Where to start
Quickstart
Install, log in and run your first dry run in a few minutes.
Use with your coding agent
Let Claude Code, Codex or another agent walk you through setup, safely.
Redaction and privacy
What gets removed, where, and what redaction cannot catch.
Commands reference
Every command, flag, exit code and JSON shape.
Who can take part
Anyone can install the CLI and run a local preview. At launch, uploads are limited to US residents aged 18 or older who accept the contributor terms.
