Login and eligibility
How device login works, and what you need before you can upload.
Log in
selltraces login- The CLI asks our API for a device code and prints a short code like
WDJB-MJHT. - It opens
https://dashboard.selltraces.ai/devicein your browser. Use--no-browserto print the link instead. - Sign in, check that the code on screen matches the one in your terminal, and approve.
- The CLI receives a token and stores it in
~/.selltraces/credentials.jsonwith file mode 0600.
Use selltraces login --force to replace an existing session. selltraces logout deletes the local token.
Only approve a code you just requested yourself. If someone sends you a code to approve, do not approve it.
Eligibility
selltraces eligibilityYou can preview without being eligible. To upload, all of these must be true:

When we update the contributor terms, the version changes and you need to accept again before your next upload. Already uploaded traces are not affected.
