From install to your first dry run. Nothing is uploaded on this page.
Install the CLI
curl -fsSL https://selltraces.ai/install | bashOpen a new terminal, or use the full path the installer prints, then check it works:
selltraces --versionLog in
selltraces loginThe CLI prints a short code and opens your browser. Confirm the code matches, then approve. Your token is stored in ~/.selltraces/credentials.json.
Check eligibility
selltraces eligibilityIf something is missing, such as contact details or the contributor terms, the CLI prints a link to finish it in the dashboard. You can keep going with the preview either way.
Choose what to include
selltraces onboard --no-uploadPick the agents to read from, approve projects, mark others private, and add any terms you never want to leave your machine. --no-upload stops before the upload step.
Preview
selltraces upload --dry-runYou get counts per source, exclusions, redaction findings by kind, the size of the upload and an estimate. No session content is printed and nothing is sent.
